Nevada-Notre Dame Preview Capsule
Notre Dame looks to bounce back after that instant classic vs Texas in the season opener last week. They are taking on the Nevada Wolf Pack. After all, it wasn’t the offense-which put up 47 points on Texas-that was the problem in Austin. The Wolf Pack are coming off of a 30-27 win over the Cal Poly Mustangs. However, I think Notre Dame has more talent on offense and will do damage to Nevada’s young defense on Saturday on the way to an Irish victory over Nevada. Despite last week’s loss, quarterback DeShone Kizer had a stellar performance, throwing 215 and notching five touchdowns.

Injury report: NEVADA: LB, Colton Concellos (knee), out for season; DE, Kori Collins (foot), expected to miss 3-4 weeks; DB, Tyler Crandall (knee), out for season; TE, Evan Faunce (knee) out indefinitely; NOTRE DAME: S, Avery Sebastian (head) probable; WR, Torii Hunter Jr.
In their game against Cal Poly, the Wolf Pack passed for 189 yards and rushed for 174 yards. The first matchup between the two teams resulted in a 35-0 win by Notre Dame at home in 2009.

Nevada will want to control the ball and keep Notre Dame’s talented offense off of the field at all cost. Other UHD broadcasts include games against Michigan State, Duke, Stanford, the University of Miami, and Virginia Tech.
