PS4 Pro Will Stop Gamers from Switching to PC — Sony
If you thought Sony created to the PlayStation 4 Pro only to establish an edge over arch-rival Microsoft in the ever expanding gaming console market, you probably had it all wrong.

The Japanese electronics company revealed the long-rumored updates to its video game console at an event in New York’s Times Square Wednesday. “However, fundamentally, there’s little doubt that PlayStation 4 Pro is going to be a tough sell”. This would be a very rare case for console games, but Bethesda has always been known for its support of user mods in its games, allowing players to create and share new content, environment rules, and ways of play that can significantly add to the life of a game.
PlayStation 4 gamers waiting for Fallout 4 user mods to come to their consoles are out of luck.
Yesterday we reported on a comment Bethesda’s Pete Hines made in regards to Fallout 4 mods on PlayStation 4, saying they’re working on mods as “fast as humanly possible”. For consoles, players make the mods on PC using Bethesda’s Creation Kit program and then upload them for the community to play, which then can be installed by Xbox One owners right from their game.

A Fallout 4 mod called “ReGrowth Overhaul” that completely changes the game’s world. Nintendo has already jumped from their own platform to Apple iPhone 7, mobiles and are even building the NX hybrid console. In an official statement yesterday, Bethesda announced that mods for Fallout 4 and the upcoming Skyrim remaster won’t be coming to the PS4. Why?
Meanwhile, Microsoft is offering you two options: either you buy the Xbox One S now and enjoy good technology, or you can wait until next fall for the so-called Project Scorpio, which will supposedly bring you the latest features available.

PS4 Pro will offer boosts to those with 1080p screens, but it will be limited when compared to the “big gain” which is in 4K and HDR.
