The members of the Mahila Morcha of the Bharatiya Janata Party and other party activists presented Kejriwal “bangles and roses” for, as the demonstrators said, his failure to act against AAP member Ashutosh. “Give me 15-20 days to decide the future course of action”, he told the media.

Reiterating that revival of Punjab was the priority of his party, Sidhu said, “Awaaz-e-Punjab aims to shake the political system which has ruined the state”. If Punjab has to win, it needs a person who will work selflessly and not just be a decoration piece.
The political front, which is likely to be converted into a party later, is likely to contest all 117 assembly seats in the elections to be held early next year.
Gupta also hit out at Kejriwal on the parliamentary secretaries appointment issue saying, they were “provided with all the facilities like the ministers”. He also said Kejriwal only wanted “Yes-men”. But he said my wife can contest and will make her a Minister.

On the last date, the high court had fixed the matter for hearing on Thursday (September 8, 2016) after the Delhi government said that a petition has been moved before the Election Commission for disqualification of the 21 MLAs and the poll panel has issued a notice on that.

He said that farmers in Punjab were in a bad shape and committing suicide. Now, it is central India company where 42 people from Delhi are exploiting Punjabis by dividing them. “They talk to individuals and people are told and never heard”.

Even as AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal started his four day Punjab tour on Thursday, Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu launched Aawaaj-e- Punjab, a new political forum along with former Hockey Captain and sitting legislature Pargat Singh in Chandigarh with an eye on Punjab polls, scheduled next year.
