The Eagles give way to the Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford
Sam Bradford got the trade he wanted months ago – just eight days before the season opener. According to NFL.com, Minnesota will send Philadelphia its first-round pick in 2017 and its fourth-round choice in 2018, potentially a devastating cost if the Vikings’ season goes down the tubes.

The Vikings, who won the NFC North last season with an 11-5 record, lost their starting quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater, to a season-ending knee injury four days before the trade. They now have a first round pick in next years draft after trading their original pick to Cleveland in order move up and get Wentz.

Bradford will work with a sixth offensive coordinator in the person of Norv Turner, in seven seasons.
So Bradford, whose career has been blemished by injuries since becoming the first overall pick in the 2010 draft by St. Louis, entered the picture. He had a strong second half in Kelly’s up-tempo offence. Bradford carries a two-year, $36 million deal that he signed in March with Philadelphia, putting him under contract for 2017. But several reports indicate the team is thinking of having him start in the opener against the Cleveland Browns.
When Philadelphia Eagles vice president of football operations Howie Roseman stepped into the auditorium at NovaCare Complex on Saturday, he didn’t face questions about most of the agonizing decisions he made to finalize an initial 53-man roster. Philly.com interviewed Bradford and the 28-year old former Heisman Trophy victor looks to reuniting his ties with college teammate Adrian Peterson and tight end coach Pat Shurmur. The Vikings tight ends coach, though, is Pat Shurmur, who was Philadelphia’s offensive coordinator in 2015 and Bradford’s offensive coordinator in his rookie season with the Rams.
QB Mark Sanchez, Denver. The seventh pick in the 2015 draft, Kevin White, missed his rookie season because of a stress fracture in his left shin.
The Minnesota Vikings found their emergency replacement for Teddy Bridgewater, paying a steep price while signaling anew they’re in it to win it this year.
Free-agent wide receiver and return specialist Devin Hester took a physical Friday with the Ravens, but there is still no clarity on whether he has been signed.
Saturday was national cut day for all 32 teams in the NFL, including the Philadelphia Eagles.
