House Speaker Paul Ryan, pressed about Donald Trump’s praise of the strongman Russian leader, trashed Vladimir Putin, but wouldn’t criticize the GOP presidential nominee.
“Maybe the Democrats are putting that out – who knows”, Mr rump averred to Mr King. “Because that would not be appropriate at all”.
Trump’s campaign claimed the boisterous businessman recorded the interview with King as a favor to his pal, and he he no idea it would wind up on an TV show, let alone one funded by the Russian government.
Donald Trump, back when he was just a larger-then-life real-estate developer and NY socialite, was a regular on King’s programme. Trump said while Obama and Putin do not get along, he will have very good relations with the Russian leader.
Mr Putin “has very strong control over a country”, Mr Trump said.
Another point Bates and Upshur agreed on is that they would trust Trump more to deal with Putin without jeopardizing national security. And the appearance on Russian television suggested no hesitation from Trump to dive into the controversy.
“Republicans are just in a bad dilemma trying to support a totally unqualified nominee, I have no sympathy for them, it’s their nominee”, she said. I’m not sure anything surprises us any more.
“I don’t have any opinion on it”.
During the NBC News discussion, moderated by American TV journalist Matt Lauer on Wednesday, and centered on national security and foreign policy, Trump defend the deployment of USA ground troops while stating the importance of “taking the oil” in the Middle East, saying that “We would leave a certain group behind and they would take the various sections where they have the oil”.
Pence was responding to comments Trump made the previous night at a “commander in chief forum” on NBC News.
“In the full clip he said, ‘That’s not the system I agree with, but he’s a strong leader there, ‘” Conway said. “I did not make the arrangements for him to be on the show”.
For several moments Clinton stood still, shaking her head – then returned to the podium.
Clinton held a news conference after convening her bipartisan national security advisers today in New York City, at the end of which, as she walked away, a reporter shouted a question as to whether she had a comment about Trump “accidentally” appearing on Russian TV.

“What would Ronald Reagan say about a Republican nominee who attacks American generals and heaps praise on Russia’s president?” “If she had done a phenomenal job, I wouldn’t have been running”.
