Kevin Durant Comments on Relationship with Russell Westbrook
Well, as a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard and back-to-back All-Star Game MVP made it clear that he isn’t fazed by Sir Charles’s viewpoints about his threads at all. “We’re still cool”, said Durant. We’re gonna have fun against each other.

The comment from Durant is the latest in a summer of intrigue between the two, starting with Durant’s July 4 departure in free agency to Golden State. One was about his relationship with Westbrook.
It seems Durant’s relationship with Westbrook was growing sour in OKC, though, fueling his departure. There’s times we cuss each other out, but that’s a part of being brothers.
While many within the media have built up the rivalry between Durant and Westbrook now that they are no longer teammates, the Warriors forward did his best to dispel any rumors of a feud between the two longtime leaders of the Thunder. Westbrook has debuted shoes over the past week, including donning some yet-to-be released pairs during his recent trip to China.

Upon signing his extension with the Thunder on August 4, Westbrook said “we’ve been together eight years”. He’ll face off against Durant for the first time in his National Basketball Association career on November 3 at Oracle Arena.
