Another new feature to Nexus phones that comes with Android 7.0 Nougat, is that notifications are now grouped together. As with most updates, though, keep in mind that this rollout will be staggered, so it could take some time for Android 7.0 to make its way to your neck of the woods. Huawei and LG have also both started limited consumer trials of Android 7.0 on the Huawei P9 and LG G5 respectively. In fact, Sony didn’t provide any specific date or even month when these updates are expected to hit its devices, but it did say that more information would be provided soon.
Android Nougat will offer a number of new features including enhanced security, split screen app viewing, a new look home screen, better battery performance and an improved notifications. It’s an over-the-air (OTA) update, so not every eligible device out in the wild will receive the new software immediately.
Some of the biggest changes include multi-window support, new emoji, and other productivity features, including direct reply and quick switch, among others. However, users who don’t wish to wait until the update hits their phones, can go over to Android developers website and get factory images.

Check out the Android blog for more details on what can you expect from Nougat. Instead, it will be LG, as it will be the first Nougat smartphone with the LG V20, launching on September 6, according to ZDNet. But as it happens with any software coming from Google, not everyone gets it immediately.
