Clinton regrets comments about Trump supporters

Hillary Clinton shrugged off calls Tuesday for more congressional inquiries into her email usage as nothing more than right-wing conspiracy pandering, saying that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has resolved the matter.

Clinton and her top aides have sought to disqualify Trump’s ability to handle national security and military issues, questioning his temperament and qualifications.

“Humility is not something you hear about much in politics, is it?”

“I think that when you serve in the armed forces, that’s a very special situation”, Trump said.

An Associated Press Fact Check of Donald Trump’s immigration speech shows that the Republican Presidentian nominee repeated many of his campaign themes and left out key details.

“And his continuing claim that he can’t release his tax returns because he is under audit has been disproved repeatedly”, she said. A CBS News poll released last weekend found Clinton leading Trump by four in the state.

However, Trump’s advantage among military voters is nothing new, local analysts say, noting the military’s political leanings have swayed to the right in recent decades, Xinhua news agency added.

“No, not to kick them out, but something has to happen”, Trump said. After Trump touted 88 retired military figures backing his campaign earlier this week, Clinton’s campaign has sought to keep the upper hand, noting her growing list of endorsements.

“Let me just say from the bottom of my heart: Hillary, they are not a basket of anything, they are Americans and they deserve your respect”.

“Throughout it all, she put the country, and I mean the entire country, at risk in order to cover up her pay for play scandals as secretary of state”, Trump alleged. “They view him as a danger and a risk”.

Meanwhile, Trump, 70, attacked Clinton over the email controversy. It was aimed at rebutting Clinton’s arguments that she would be best positioned to lead the military and reassuring Republicans who have openly anxious that his provocative statements might undermine US alliances.

Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway wasted little time jumping on the slight – the irony not lost on how 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney was slammed for putting women in a binder while Clinton places millions in “baskets”.
