Google is expected to launch the Pixel smartphones first, followed by the rumoured 7-inch tablet. The Pixel and Pixel XL is also most likely to be available at a much sooner date if one was to purchase them directly from Google.

Project Fi was released as Google’s MVNO option last summer as a way for those with Nexus devices to get the full Google experience.
A Nexus 7 tablet is shown at the Google Developers Conference as developer Brad McManus tries out the new device on June 27, 2012 in San Francisco, California. Since Google is likely to drop the Nexus branding for its mobile phones, it would make sense to rename its tablet lineup as well. The two will have QHD AMOLED screens, Qualcomm Snapdragon 521 processors, 32GB or 128 GB storage and 4GB RAM.
Following rumours that the upcoming smartphones from Google, manufactured by HTC and codenamed Marlin and Sailfish, will be branded Pixel instead of Nexus, comes information that Huawei may be working on a new tablet.
Regardless of the name, one of the consistent rumors about the this tablet is that Huawei will do the manufacturing for Google, Digital Trends reports.
Given the incredible specs sheet of the Google Nexus 7 2016 tablet, it will for sure be interesting to see the price tag of the slate. And the company might also announce the new 7-inch Huawei-built at the event, along with a new Chromecast capable of 4K playback, Google Home and the DayDream VR headset.

As per Android Police, the upcoming handsets will also feature a new “swipe fingerprint” gesture support which will let you view notifications by simply swiping down on the fingerprint sensor with your finger. But with these specs, the price might be closer to the likes of Google Pixel C tablet. Supposedly. Things are still pretty much in the air right now in terms of confirmation so we don’t really know.
