Japan joined the USA and European Union to slap sanctions on Russian Federation over its meddling in Ukraine, further hindering its already modest trade with Moscow.

“Vladimir, in order to carve out towards the future bilateral relations overflowing with unlimited potential, I am resolved to putting forth all my strength to advance the relationship between Japan and Russian Federation, together with you”, Abe said.
Experts view recent rapprochement efforts as a positive development for Moscow’s trade ties with stalwart United States ally Tokyo, but doubt they will result in a resolution of their territorial dispute.
“Each of us looks at this problem through the prism of their national interests but we all agree on one thing – we need to solve the problem”, Putin said.

But dismissing the allegations, Putin said: “To do that, you need to have a finger on the pulse and get the specifics of the domestic political life of the U.S”. Trump, in return, has said Clinton’s own close ties to the Russian president deserve greater scrutiny.
“Let us overcome all difficulties and leave the people of the next generation a world in which our two countries will reveal their powerful potential”.
