PS4 Pro 4K and HDR patch for existing games could cost money
However, Sony will have its advantage when it comes to price.

Sony usually makes changes in the PlayStation only between major releases. However, the PS4 Pro will not be able to play 4K Blu-ray movies. With this, Microsoft is expected to release their Xbox Project Scorpio by the end of 2017 or earlier than that.
Running 4K will require more computing power than HD, Sony said the PS4 Pro would have more than double graphics processing power.
If you’re using a PS4 Pro with a display that’s 1080p or less, the game will be rendered at 1080p instead of its previous 900p, with an increase in antialiasing quality from 2X to 4X MSAA. “In addition, we continue to see strong engagement on Xbox Live – the fastest, most reliable gaming network – with total global gaming hours on Xbox One consoles increasing 42 percent year-over-year”.
Blow also adds that HDR Support is being worked on for the PS4 Pro before explaining that they were unaware of the firmware update adding HDR Support to existing consoles. But it is already cleared that Sony PS4 will support the PlayStation VR.
In an announcement made at its PlayStation Meeting this week, Sony unveiled a new, beefier version of its PlayStation 4 (PS4) gaming console — the much-rumored PlayStation 4 Pro.
4K TVs are now fairly affordable and on the market.

The PS4 Pro will go on sale from November 10 at a suggested retail price of 44,980 yen ($399), tax exclusive.
