Priyanka Chopra’s day out with Sunny Leone in NY
The collection was inspired by her travel to the Taj Mahal and the village of Banjara tribe.

Sunny Leone: I was called “too fat”, “too short” to be a model:- The “Queen of seduction” Sunny Leone has come into the Bollywood in late 2012 and soon made her name for her bold and sensuous role. On the other hand, Sunny Leone walked the ramp for designer Archana Kochar at NYFW. She had a lovely evening by the Brooklyn Bridge at the Thakoon show (which also involved some twerking with model Karolina Kurkova): And had a lot of fun at the Refinery29 event too. The two icons walked for designer Archana Kochhar at the fashion gala which will go on till September 15.
She is the first Bollywood actress to walk at New York Fashion Week. “Very few Indian designers have reached New York Fashion Week, but she has”. “I love this gown; it looks so ethereal”.
“It was a surreal experience. As the NYFW organizers had told me, they don’t talk fashion – they own fashion”, said designer Archana Kochhar. I always wanted to be the model and walk the ramp. “We need such acceptance in society and I think such endeavors of mine will increase sensitivity towards this concept in our society”, Kochhar further added. “This was my first time at New York” said Reshma Qureshi. “I feel as though it has definitely changed my life”. The prints evoked not only the Taj Mahal but the lotus flower and royal elephants.
Leone opened the show in a attractive and vibrant gown – the torso showcasing a riot of colours with ethno-modern motifs with two vertical panels on the front, a nude base and long sleeves with the continuing pattern.
