The police have cordoned off an under-construction building suspected to be located in the outskirts around a mini-secretariat in Poonch district’s Allah Pir area. Two others, sub inspector Manzoor Hussain and a civilian, were injured when the terrorists opened fire According to a police source, the terrorists probably sneaked through the security grid along the Line of Control into Poonch town and launched the attack.

A police personnel and one terrorist were killed in an ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. Four terrorists, believed to be Pakistanis, were killed.
