Mr. Ahmad Salkida, known for his knowledge of the ranks of the extremist sect, Boko Haram, was arrested at the Abuja airport as he arrived from his United Arab Emirate base.

Salkida was declared wanted by the army on August 14 along with two other individuals – rights activists Ahmed Bolori and Aisha Wakil.
The Nigerian military on Wednesday morning announced that its troops have arrested a Boko Haram suspect, Muhammed Bulama, who is number 105, on its wanted list, in Yobe state.
He was said to have been arrested from the door of aircraft.
A security operative told one of our correspondents that “When we declared him wanted, he said he was willing to return to Nigeria but only on the condition that we send him a flight ticket”.
“Consequently, appeal was made for their unconditional release by the Federal Government”.
“We call on members of the public to support this effort by providing useful information to security agencies”.
Salkida was declared wanted last month by the Nigerian Army.

“Bulama also supposedly confirmed that his photograph was on the army’s wanted list and further revealed that he specialized in rearing animals for the terrorist group”. The notice came after the recent release of a video showing abducted Chibok schoolgirls in custody of Boko Haram.
