Samsung Galaxy Note 7: Bigger Mistake Than Galaxy S6 Edge
The Samsung executive adds: “We are expediting replacement devices so that they can be provided through the exchange program as conveniently as possible and in compliance with related regulations”.

“During the past week, we understand that there are concerns from our customers and we wish to emphasise the importance of exchanging the product”, it said.
This sounds pretty serious, despite only a very small number of Note 7 devices are affected by the faulty battery cells.
Samsunglast week has agreed to replace every single Galaxy Note 7 smartphone, after at least 35 reports that the phone’s batteries could overheat and explode.
Several airlines have asked travelers not to use or charge the smartphones while flying or put them in checked baggage.
There are at least two more cases that Samsung said it is aware of – one at a hotel in Perth, Australia, and another in St. Petersburg, Florida, where a family reported that a Galaxy Note 7 left charging in their Jeep had caught fire, destroying the vehicle.
Some other global airlines – Qantas, Virgin Australiaand Etihad – have also taken similar steps, asking customers not to ‘use or charge Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 during flights. T-Mobile is giving you any device of your choice in their inventory with free next business day shipping. I assume that does not include the iPhone 7. Shortly after Samsung announced a widespread recall of its latest phablet, its market value took a $7 billion nosedive.

Samsung Pakistan also delayed the launch date of Note 7 in Pakistan and halted the pre-orders. Another 1 million units have been produced and need to be refurbished too.
