“Pence’s documents show his adjusted gross income peaked in 2009 at around $187,000 and was $113,000 previous year”, The Hill reports.
Charitable donations amounted to 10 percent of the family’s take-home pay, equivalent to an average 7.2 percent of adjusted gross income, a statement released by the Trump campaign said.
Pence, the governor of IN, made his comments Thursday during an interview with CNN IN which he said “it’s unarguable that Vladimir Putin has been a stronger leader IN his country than Barack Obama has been IN this country”.
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, have released tax returns dating back to the late 1970s, and returns from 1992 through 2015 can be easily found on the internet.
With Bash highlighting the differences between the two nation’s governments, Pence claimed Trump doesn’t particularly like the Russian system.
Trump embraced the long-debunked “birther movement” in early 2011, eager to push the theory as a way to connect with white conservatives and catapult himself into prominence while he mulled his own run for the White House.
For his part, GOP running mate Mike Pence appeared to break from Trump this week, saying definitively that he does not believe the conspiracy theory. The vice presidential candidate had quipped that his tax documents would be a “quick read” depicting a middle-class life in public service.
Almost three-quarters of likely voters, including 62 percent of Republicans, said in a recent Quinnipiac University survey that Trump should publicly release his returns. IRS officials have said there’s no law preventing taxpayers from releasing their returns to the public, even if they’re under audit.
The Republican vice presidential nominee and IN governor on Friday released a decade worth of returns, roughly a month after promising to do so. Clinton’s running mate, Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, has posted 10 years of returns. The NYT asks “Why Won’t Trump Release His Taxes?”
“I don’t talk about it because if I talk about that, your whole thing will be about that”, he said. He and his wife, a teacher named Karen, have three children.
Trump has long claimed to be worth $10 billion although many have doubted that figure.

“I confirm that and Donald Trump now confirms that”, Giuliani responded. A Gallup poll from May of 2011 found 23% of Republican Party members continued to doubt Obama was born in the USA and 13% of Americans overall did.
