The more gamers learn about Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, the more it feels as though Nintendo is consciously deciding to embrace the fan nostalgia that has grown increasingly pronounced over the franchise’s twenty year lifespan.
We recently had a look at a Pokemon Sun and Moon trailer that showed some new Pokemon, the Aether Foundation, a Poke Finder feature, Ultra Beast critters, and a Team Skull Enforcer.
Some “Pokemon” fans have wondered about Prof. Oak. Is there a Mrs Oak?
As of the moment, the trailer did not give any clues about these questions. That’s the kind of pursuit that has enticed both Professor Oak and Gary away from being trainers themselves, and if it runs in the family, gamers should expect to see Oak’s cousin getting involved in some capacity.
Meet Samson Oak, who happens to live in Sun and Moon’s region of Alola (thanks, Serebii). In the trailer, it appears that he’s discussing about the different forms of animals, so it’s just like Prof.
More importantly, the two Legendaries Solgaleo and Lunala get a bit more screen time as they frolic in the new world.
Pokemon Sun & Moon comes out in the United States on November 18.
“Pokemon Sun and Moon” will be out on November 18 in North America and November 23 in Europe for the Nintendo 3DS.
