Hillary Clinton ‘felt unwell’ at 9/11 ceremony

Dr. Lisa R. Bardack released a statement via the campaign this afternoon hours after Clinton left a NY memorial service marking the 15th anniversary of the September 11 attacks early after feeling “overheated”, according to a campaign spokesman. Her doctor, Lisa Bardack, said in a statement that she has been experiencing a cough related to allergies and that an examination on Friday showed it was pneumonia.

Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement that the former secretary of state attended the morning ceremony for 90 minutes “to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen”.

Dogged by Republican claims of health issues and caught on video staggering into a vehicle at the 9/11 memorial, Clinton emerged from her daughter Chelsea’s NYC apartment later this morning, telling cordoned off media that she was “feeling great”.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton left a 9/11 commemoration ceremony and went to her daughter’s home in Manhattan after feeling “overheated”, according to a statement by her campaign.

Clinton’s press pool was apparently unaware of her whereabouts when the incident happened.

Dr. Bardack examined Hillary Clinton at her home in Chappaqua, NY after she returned from New York City Sunday afternoon.

Clinton was a senator from NY during the September 11, 2001, attacks.

On Friday, Clinton told donors that “half” of rival Donald Trump’s supporters are in a “bucket of deplorables” – a comment that drew sharp criticism from Republicans.

Yet Clinton, who is now 68, also had to undergo anticoagulation therapy to dissolve a blood clot and had to wear special glasses to correct double vision for almost two months starting in late 2012.

As the solemn event began on Sunday at the site of the World Trade Centre that was attacked by two hijacked airliners 15 years ago, there was patchy sunlight with temperatures around 26 degrees.

A attractive day in NY, but one that seemed to get to Clinton Sunday morning.

Clinton walked out of Chelsea Clinton’s apartment wearing the same dark blue suit and sunglasses she had been wearing at the memorial.

Clinton has shot back at the conspiracy theories.

Clinton’s speech at a campaign rally earlier this month in Cleveland was interrupted by a coughing spell.

Donald Trump and his top surrogates have claimed that she faces a health crisis, citing selectively edited videos of public events to advance claims she’s suffered seizures.

For example, John McCain, the failed 2008 Republican presidential nominee, allowed reporters to see 1,173 pages of medical records after concerns were raised about a cancer scare. “I have just examined her and she is now re-hydrated and recovering nicely”.

Clinton has been in the news before for serious health issues. However the high humidity caused it to feel much hotter in the crowd at times.

It’s an accusation that Clinton has sought to play off as a “wacky strategy” from Trump and evidence that he embraces an “alternative reality”. “I think Hillary’s exhausted. she looks sick”, he told Fox News Sunday, accusing the mainstream media of hiding evidence and urging people to Google “Hillary Clinton illness” to find support for his theory. Bardack said Clinton had a stomach virus after traveling and had become dehydrated. It noted that her current medical conditions include hyperthyroidism and seasonal pollen allergies.
