U.S. generals ‘reduced to rubble,’ he’d replace some

Hillary Clinton insists that Islamic State extremists are “rooting” for Donald Trump.
Trump said he doesn’t support Russia’s system of government but noted, “I think I would have a very, very good relationship with Putin, and I think I would have a very, very good relationship with Russian Federation”.
Clinton frequently recounts for voters her involvement in the operation as President Barack Obama’s secretary of state. Trump appeared more concerned about what Russian president Vladimir Putin said about him than the accusation that Russia is trying to influence the American election. “I was very, very – but, that was superseded because before the war, much closer to the war, I gave statements that we shouldn’t go in”.
Robby Mook said on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Thursday that Trump’s answer for how to defeat the Islamic State group shows he had “no plan” in the first place.
New York Magazine’s Jonathan Chait called it “pathetic” and highlighted all the times Lauer dropped the ball on pressing Trump about his dangerously contradictory foreign policy statements. Clinton compared the mission to the 2011 killing of the al-Qaida leader who directed the September 11 attacks that killed almost 3,000.
“Our leaders were not following what they recommended”.
Though they didn’t appear face-to-face – that’ll happen when they begin a series of three presidential debates later this month – the two candidates presented their views on key issues, such as their qualifications for becoming the commander-in-chief of the USA military, their plans to defeat the Islamic State and their take on foreign policy.
Clinton also repeated her comment that many of Trump’s supporters deserve empathy.
During her remarks in Charlotte, Clinton also spoke about being a senator for NY during the 9/11 terrorist attacks 15 years ago, as well as her involvement, while secretary of state, in the USA raid on Osama Bin Laden’s Pakistani compound that resulted in his death.
“Every time she talks about the subject, it’s different”, Trump said.
NBC spokespeople did not respond to a request for comment regarding Lauer’s performance, or why Chuck Todd, the network’s political director and host of “Meet The Press”, was not asked to moderate the forum.
The first question from the audience of veterans was a pointed one, about how she could justify something that risked exposure of classified material.
Mr Trump found new and interesting ways to show his tenuous command of policy details and shower questionable praise on a U.S. rival.
Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson says he, “blanked” when he was asked about the name of Syria’s largest city. “But it’s part of the landscape we live in”.

Some see this closeness in the race as a surprise, given that you have a highly experienced Democratic nominee with a well-organized and funded campaign going against a reality TV star with a disorganized mess of a campaign.
