“What we’ve heard from her medical note is, looking at the follow-up, there would be some concern, but she’s been tested and there’s no long-term impact from her brain and the blood clot has resolved”, he said.

Along with taking blood-thinning medication, Clinton takes medication for hypothyroidism, a condition in which her thyroid gland is underactive and doesn’t produce enough important hormones, according to Bardack’s report.

“She was put on antibiotics and advised to rest and modify her schedule”.

The doctor continued in the statement: “While at this morning’s event, she became overheated and dehydrated. Are you feeling better?” a reporter asked when Clinton left the apartment. Because of the force of the fall, I had double vision for a short period of time and I had some dizziness. She is said to be feeling much better and this afternoon her physician, Dr. Lisa Bardack, released a statement on the episode and Clinton’s health.

Democratic presidental nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leaves the September 11 Commemoration Ceremony at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum on September 11, 2016 in New York City. Her health has always been a campaign issue, although Clinton has released more medical information as compared to Trump, who disseminated a note from a doctor that’s been pilloried for Trump-like adjectives and a lack of information. “She said she was suffering from seasonal allergies”, Tamara adds. Clinton had a similar coughing fit on her plane that day and several times in past months, often prompting her to sip water and take a throat lozenge.

At 70, Trump would be slightly older than Ronald Reagan on his election day, and Clinton will have just turned 69. In August 2016, he called her “unstable Hillary Clinton” at multiple campaign rallies. He said he was standing behind her during the remembrance and “she did not seem out of the ordinary at all”.

Clinton now has a full campaign schedule planned for the upcoming week: she’s slated to be in California Monday and Tuesday, Nevada on Wednesday and Washington, D.C., on Thursday. She later said she regretted using the word “half”. When she challenged Kimmel to take her pulse, he joked there wasn’t one.

“Since we can’t get that done for taxes, I don’t think we’re going to get it done for health”, he said, referencing Trump’s refusal to match Clinton’s release of her personal tax records. “Without examining, without having the history. you don’t have a basis to say anything”.

Democratic Representative Joe Crowley of NY, a Clinton supporter who attended the event, told Reuters that it was “incredibly, stiflingly hot” during the ceremony. “I mean as far as I can tell he’s as healthy as a horse”, she said.
