Ohio State ranked No. 3 in latest AP poll
The Sooners were ranked No. 3 to start the season, but dropped their opener 33-23.

Ohio State remains the top Big Ten team in the poll, moving from No. 4 to No. 3.
In the Amway Coaches Poll, all three schools grabbed one vote each after grabbing victories in Week 3, propelling all the teams to 2-0 records.
The Buckeyes did not receive any first place votes. There is a lot of football left to be played and these polls will change dramatically over the next 11 weeks of regular season action and after the conference championship games.
There are three Big Ten teams in the top 10, with OSU and MI ranked third and fourth and Wisconsin finding themselves at No. 9.
No. 10 Louisville broke into the top 10 as it prepares to play host to Florida State on Saturday. Something of note however is that the Buckeyes are closing the gap between themselves and No. 2 Florida State.
Loaded first weekend. No ranked matchups in week two. Notre Dame 1-1 19.
The AP and Coaches’ Polls will come out later today, but ESPN has ranked the top eight College Football Playoff contenders after Week 2. The Aggies enter the contest 2-0, ranked No. 17 in the AP poll and No. 20 in the coaches.
OSU is also in the top 13 of the AP poll, including Wisconsin at 9, Michigan State at 12 and Iowa at 13.

By comparison, there is a 161-point margin between No. 4 Ohio State and No. 5 MI in the coaches poll.
