Sam Bradford is extremely confident about starting situation with Vikings

The Eagles are responsible for Bradford’s $11 million signing bonus, which was due on or before September 1, and the rest of his contract – $20 million in base salaries and $4 million March 2017 roster bonus – would go to the Vikings, according to ESPN.

In the past, the team has found a lot of success in first round draft picks.

The Titans open the regular season on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford warms up as the team gets ready for practice in Eden Prairie on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016. He didn’t rule out Bradford, either, with the game at Tennessee six days away.

“What really was significant for us was the second year of the contract with Sam”, Spielman said. The Vikings gave the Eagles a first-round draft pick and a conditional fourth-round pick to get Bradford after starter Teddy Bridgewater suffered a major knee injury in practice last week. “But it felt better today than it did yesterday, that’s for sure”. “That’s the nature of this game”, Hill said. Immediate action for Bradford is certainly possible, though.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Shaun Hill has been living the life of a backup for a majority of his 15-year career, but that is helping him as he deals with a whirlwind start to the 2016 season.

“I don’t read anything you guys write”.

The Vikings are splitting snaps between Hill and Bradford this week after acquiring Bradford from the Philadelphia Eagles in a trade on Saturday. He’ll have additional help in the passing game with the returning Kelvin Benjamin, who missed all of last season to injury. Unfortunately Bridgewater dislocated his knee and tore his ACL last Tuesday, derailing the Viking’s big plans this year. Zimmer said he will tell the team when he has made his decision. “That’s the way he took it”. Running back Adrian Peterson, at 31 and with 2,381 carries in the NFL, doesn’t have many elite seasons left in the league. “I would anticipate (Bradford starts), and if he doesn’t, it’s not going to change how we prepare”. I don’t know if some people have gotten over it yet, but the thing with the Vikings is their window is just now opening. “I feel like we will have a balanced offense”. The Vikings tight ends coach, though, is Pat Shurmur, who was Philadelphia’s offensive coordinator in 2015 and Bradford’s offensive coordinator in his rookie season with the Rams. But, despite the trade values that Spielman had to go through, getting Bradford doesn’t mean that the Vikings settled.

“I’m excited, kind of reunited”, Peterson said. Four players on the active roster weren’t taking part in practice: WR Charles Johnson, TE MyCole Pruitt, OT Jeremiah Sirles and center Nick Easton.
