Jana Kramer Joins Dancing With the Stars

The embattled gold-medal victor, subject to derision and a police charge that he filed a false report alleging a robbery at gunpoint while in Rio, is the celebrity lightning rod of the newest crop of Dancing With the Stars pairings revealed Tuesday on Good Morning America.

Lochte once again apologized for his actions in Rio during an interview Tuesday with ABC’s “Good Morning America”.

Olympic medal victor Ryan Lochte has yet another new endorsement deal. The swimmer reportedly lied about being robbed at gunpoint, making all talk about his actual athletic abilities fall to the wayside as the media pounced on the “scandal”.

“I’m never one to dwell on the past”, he said, according to ABC. “I’m human. I made a mistake and that’s something I’m going to have to live with”.

Other athletes that will appear include fellow Olympian Laurie Hernandez (gymnastics), Calvin Johnson, a former wide receiver for the Detroit Lions, and race auto driver James Hinchcliffe. Brazilian authorities later said that the United States athlete lied and that he had vandalized a gas station restroom, though Ryan said that’s untrue.

U.S. swimming star Ryan Lochte will look to turn the page after his drunken hijinks at the Rio Olympics 2016 cost him lucrative endorsements – by appearing on the reality TV show “Dancing with the Stars”. He stressed, however, that he thinks the coverage of the incident has been blown “way out of proportion”. A very big mistake.

Model, actress and fashion designer Amber Rose has been paired with returning dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, a perennial fan-favorite dancer who’s only won one season – when he was paired ice skater Meryl Davis in the spring 2014.

Ryan Lochte believes “everyone has got to be sick and tired” of hearing about his actions during the Rio Olympics. But as I got closer to the bottom, I started to see a lot of potential for this to be another awesome season.

This early out, I’m thinking an athlete is going to win this thing.
