Poll shows Trump edging ahead of Clinton amid tightening race
Clinton will have millions of dollars at her disposal this fall to air television advertising and power a sophisticated get-out-the vote operation in key states.

Ms Clinton said the release of her doctor’s letter earlier in the campaign – a response to the mounting conspiracy theories – explained the frog in her throat. Make it a four-way poll with Johnson and Stein, and nearly 20 percent of Americans chose someone other than Clinton or Trump or were simply undecided.
Maria Gallagher, legislative/PAC Director of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation, the state affiliate of National Right to Life in Pennsylvania, said her group appreciated the support for Trump from NRLC. Clinton’s campaign has made those investments as any traditional campaign would.
A Morning Consult poll released on Sunday showed Clinton up by two points, a lead that had been seven in the same poll three weeks ago. Trump is up 50 – 42 percent among white voters, while Clinton leads 75 – 15 percent among non-white voters. Efforts to highlight a warmer side of the NY real estate developer at the GOP convention were quickly overshadowed by flaps of his own making.
“If Trump loses OH, he loses the race”, Brown told AFP. North Carolinians can start submitting absentee ballots Friday. No Republican has won the White House without carrying the state, and the airport offered vivid imagery of that crucial role.
The bombardment from both campaigns will increase enormously in coming days. The shift among these voters since the convention is largely due to a rebound in Trump’s numbers rather than a slide in Clinton’s. The money came from a Trump family foundation in apparent violation of rules surrounding political activities by charities.
Trump leads 86 – 9 percent among Republicans as Democrats back Clinton 88 – 9 percent. “Voters who traditionally have not voted Republican or haven’t even voted in a very long time seem to be coming out to support this messenger and this message”.
Trump advisers vigorously dispute that the race has slipped from their grasp.
It’s the question that keeps presidential candidates up at night.
“Hillary can lose OH and still win because she’s going to win Virginia, North Carolina, Colorado”, and other swing states where she has built deep ground operations, Brown added.
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are pushing ahead in top presidential battlegrounds with Labor Day behind them.
And she implied Moscow was trying to help get the 70-year-old Trump elected.
Trump extended a rare invitation to a handful of reporters to join him on his private jet between campaign stops, while Clinton debuted her new campaign plane, riding with reporters for the first time since launching her 2016 bid for the White House.
Meanwhile, Clinton’s campaign released a new television ad entitled “Sacrifice”, showing military veterans watching some of the NY businessman’s more provocative statements. Vice President Joe Biden will camp out in working class areas of OH and Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Obama’s task will be to urge all voters, but especially young people, in hotly contested Virginia to support Clinton and running mate Tim Kaine in the November 8 election.
Trump will be largely on his own, with the exception of running mate Mike Pence and a few loyal supporters such as New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Clinton holds a solid edge on foreign policy (56 percent trust her to Trump’s 40 percent), and the public is divided over the fourth issue in the bunch, immigration. Democrats back Clinton 94 – 4 percent.
That poll, from Suffolk University, also found almost half of the state’s voters think the Democrat will win the presidency.
