Doctor: Clinton has pneumonia, was dehydrated and overheated Sunday
“During the ceremony, she felt overheated so departed to go to her daughter’s apartment, and is feeling much better”, spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement. Clinton was a United States senator for NY at the time of the attacks. Her Republican opponent Donald Trump is 70.Emerging later on Sunday from her daughter’s home in New York, Mrs Clinton had said: “I’m feeling great”.

Dr. Lisa Bardack, Clinton’s personal doctor, said in a statement that the candidate “has been experiencing a cough related to allergies”, and she had been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday “during follow-up evaluation of her prolonged cough”.
With regards to Hillary Clinton’s health, the campaign has zero credibility, especially after trying to hide the pneumonia – if, indeed, that’s what she has. A video of her departure show Clinton appearing to stumble as three staff members hold her up and help her into a van.
She stumbles and appears to fall off the kerb as she is helped to the vehicle.
Clinton has been in the news before for serious health issues. Asked by reporters waiting outside if she’s feeling better, Clinton wearing pants and coat, replied, “Yes”.
Her schedule modification comes in the heat of a tightening race in the home stretch. Her campaign Friday said Clinton will discuss her “vision for an America that is stronger together and to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top”.
About 90 minutes elapsed before the campaign issued its statement.
As Hillary Clinton fell ill during a 9/11 commemoration ceremony Sunday morning, both Democrats and Republicans alike raised questions of concern about her health.
Trump attended the same event marking the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
During an August appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel program, Clinton called GOP claims about her health a “wacky strategy”, and opened a jar to comically prove her strength. It noted that her current medical conditions include hyperthyroidism and seasonal pollen allergies.
Her doctors have said she fully recovered.
In December 2012, she suffered a concussion and shortly afterward developed a blood clot.
Added Dr. Stephen Hargarten, head of emergency medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin: “I’m not surprised to hear this happen to someone engaged in the kind of frenetic schedule she has”.
The former first lady has dismissed “conspiracy theories” about her health and points to a letter from her doctor declaring her fit to serve as president.
Clinton had a coughing fit while speaking at a rally in Cleveland, Ohio, forced to take a moment to sip some water and recover.
Clinton left the lower Manhattan ceremony around 9:30 am after more than an hour at the site. “She has to be at tons of events and seem very energetic”, Prof Lawless told AFP.
Trump said in an interview last week that he would release his full medical records if Clinton makes her records public.

Several hours later, her campaign revealed she had been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday and advised to rest.
