On September 9, Lady Gaga released her first single in three years, Perfect Illusion.

Gaga released her latest single “Perfect Illusion” Thursday night.
The new album is Gaga’s first on her own since 2013’s “Artpop” and follows “Cheek to Cheek“, the collaborative record she released in 2014 with Tony Bennett.
During an interview with BBC Radio 1 hours after “Illusion” dropped, the singer revealed another hint about the album: It features a duet with Florence Welch.
We don’t know much about the album that this single will eventually promote, but Gaga was willing to say that a duet with Florence and the Machine will appear on the album.
Lady Gaga has been sending fans into meltdown with her new comeback single “Perfect Illusion”. Lyrics include, “I don’t need eyes to see, I felt you touching me, high like amphetamine, maybe you’re just a dream”.
She added, “We stripped everything away”.

The news made it through the airwaves and straight to social media, causing a frenzy.
“I believe many of us are wondering why there are so many fake things around us”, she said. But, with that said, Gaga can have the tendency at times to do things differently and also play it safe – that’s ultimately what she does with “Perfect Illusion“.
She also visited a couple of other London radio stations – dressed in a cropped T-shirt which showed underboob, and very small denim hotpants – meeting former Spice Girl Emma Bunton, who co-hosts Heart FM Breakfast show. Anyway, Gaga is back and it’s great to have her!
