US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton diagnosed with pneumonia
“The cancellation came after Clinton abruptly departed a 9/11 memorial ceremony in New York City on Sunday morning”. The way the Clinton team handled Sunday’s event may provide an opening for Trump’s argument to gain more purchase.

Trump, 70, has said Clinton is “not strong enough to be president” and that she “lacks the mental and physical stamina to take on ISIS”.
Bardack added in a statement that Clinton, after an exam Sunday afternoon at her home, “is now rehydrated and recovering nicely”.
According to BBC, “Secretary Clinton has been experiencing a cough related to allergies”.
Clinton was scheduled to leave for California on Monday morning for a two-day swing that included fundraisers and a speech on the economy.
Clinton was first taken to her daughter Chelsea’s residence in midtown Manhattan.
Clinton exited the apartment on her own shortly before noon.
Mrs Clinton has previously disclosed a concussion incident in 2012 that left her with double-vision and a blood clot in her head.
Video posted by a bystander to Twitter appeared to show Clinton extremely unsteady and supported by aides, being helped from the curb into a vehicle.
Clinton has maintained a busy schedule over the past six weeks, attending three dozen fundraising events in August.
Mr Trump, who attended the same event marking the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, was noticeably restrained.
Clinton is expected to spend the rest of her Sunday at home in Chappaqua, N.Y.
The incident compounds an already hard stretch for Clinton as the presidential race enters its final stretch.
Nevada is a competitive swing state in the presidential race between Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump.
Earlier this month, Clinton’s opponents latched on to a coughing fit she had on a campaign trail to undermine her ability to lead the country. Her doctor attributed that episode to a stomach virus and dehydration. She greets attendees and takes her spot in the audience next to New York Senators Chuck Schumer and Kristan Gillibrand. The weather was warm and humid in NY on Sunday, and there was a breeze at the crowded memorial plaza during the ceremony.
About 90 minutes elapsed before the campaign issued a statement. Her campaign later said she had “felt overheated”.
“It was stiflingly hot”. She emerged around two hours later on a warm and muggy morning, wearing sunglasses and telling reporters that she was “feeling great”.
Trump has also been under pressure to release detailed information on his health and medical history. But the doctor has since acknowledged he dashed off the note in five minutes while a Trump campaign limousine waited nearby. Associated Press writers Tom Hays and Michael Balsamo in NY, and AP writer Laurie Kellman in Washington contributed to this report.
Trump would be the oldest person to assume the presidency if he gets elected.

Hillary Clinton’s doctor says she is being treated for pneumonia and dehydration following her abrupt exit from a 9/11 memorial event in NY earlier today NZT.
Following the incident, the 68-year-old went to recuperate in her daughter’s Manhattan apartment – but there was no information on whether she required medical attention.
The Democratic nominee later said she regretted her remarks at an LGBT fundraiser in NY.
The incident comes less than two months from Election Day and compounds an already hard stretch for Clinton.
Clinton had been seeking to bounce back from a blunder on Friday, when she told donors that half of Trump’s supporters belonged in a “basket of deplorables”.
Those allegations have centered largely around a concussion Clinton sustained in December 2012 after fainting.

It was a humid day in NY, with temperatures around 28 Celsius (82 degrees Fahrenheit).
