It’s been a furious downfall for former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle, who was charged with possession of child pornography earlier this summer and has now seen the end of the road.

Earlier on Tuesday, a local Fox affiliate reported that, according to sources, Mr. Fogle was going accept a plea deal on Wednesday, but not much more detail was available.

Even before official charges were made, the fast food chain quickly scrubbed Fogle from its site and suspended their relationship with him.

24-Hour News 8 received a statement saying “

We have already ended our relationship with Jared and have no further comment.”

Taylor reportedly faces eight preliminary federal felony charges, which includes multiple counts of possession of child pornography, child exploitation and voyeurism.

Jared Fogle gained national attention when he lost a significant amount of weight as a college freshman.

Subway dropped Fogle after Taylor’s arrest. A spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Indianapolis also declined to comment.

Fogle’s history with Subway reaches back to when he was a student at Indiana University. Following those charges, Subway and Mr. Fogle said they had severed all ties with Mr. Taylor. FBI Special agent Wendy Osborne said that the FBI was conducting an investigation in the Zionsville area but wouldn’t confirm it involved Fogle.

Authorities removed documents, computers, DVDs and other electronic equipment from Fogle’s home that could provide evidence against him.

The Subway worker says she shared the texts with Subway management at the time, but the company ignored her complaints. Fogle was first featured in ads for the company in 2000.
