Obama hit back at Trump on Thursday for criticizing his foreign policy record, saying the Republican nominee for the November 8 election was unfit to follow him into the Oval Office and the public should press him on his “outright wacky ideas”. Clinton, the Democrat, is campaigning in Florida in search of an advantage in the nation’s largest swing state.

“Well, thank God we are all going to heaven because hell has frozen over”, said former Dallas Mayor Ron Kirk. “Pennsylvania, so crucial and looking like the most solid swing state for Hillary Clinton, is back in play”.

Trump has repeatedly attacked Clinton over her support for the war, saying it showed poor judgment.

Trump says he was against invading Iraq from the very beginning, citing an Esquire article that was published the year after the war actually began.

The New York businessman also said he did not think Russia’s government was behind the hack of Democratic National Committee email servers.

She emphasised her role in helping to kill Bin Laden, noting that she was on hand with President Barack Obama and top intelligence officials on the night a SEAL team tracked down and killed the terrorist chief in Pakistan. You have reported – and the gentleman can tell you – you have the report of rape, and nobody gets prosecuted.

“Apparently Trump said if there had been the kerfuffle about the stairs and the press, he would have just stayed on the plane and gone home”.

Trump on Wednesday night said during a candidate forum that he trusts some generals, but not all, because they’ve been “reduced to rubble”.

“She doesn’t have the energy to bring ’em back”.

Trump also said Wednesday that during a recent intelligence briefing, he was “surprised” because he could tell from “body language” that the experts were not happy “our leaders did not follow what they were recommending”.

“I don’t understand the reasons for it”, she said. “And she didn’t have the energy to go to Mexico”.

The reference to voting rights was one of several appeals Clinton made to black voters, who polls show overwhelmingly support her over Republican candidate Donald Trump.
