Clinton diagnosed with pneumonia, cancels California trip
Hours earlier, a video was posted on social media, apparently showing Clinton stumbling and her knees buckling, before being helped by aides into a black van leaving the site of the September 11, 2001 attack in NY.

Several hours later, Clinton’s physician said the Democratic presidential nominee was diagnosed on Friday with pneumonia.
The Clinton campaign said a doctor had examined her Friday because of a prolonged cough and was at that time told she had pneumonia.
Dr. Amesh Adalja, an infectious disease expert and senior associate at the UPMC Centre for Health Security in Pittsburgh who is not treating Clinton, said recovery from pneumonia can vary from about a week to longer, depending on the severity.
Trump – who also attended the 9/11 ceremony – was uncharacteristically silent on Twitter about Clinton’s illness, as both took a break from formal campaigning to mark the sombre day.
Ms Clinton, who went to her daughter’s apartment after falling ill, later waved to reporters and said: ‘I’m feeling great.
Clinton exited the apartment on her own shortly before noon. Earlier she left ceremonies commemorating the 15th anniversary of the September 11 attacks feeling “overheated”.
That’s because of Clinton’s abrupt departure Sunday from a 9/11 anniversary ceremony in NY. She stumbles and appears to fall off the curb as she is helped inside.
Merrill had indicated she had returned to her residence in Chappaqua north of New York City sometime after 1 pm, and was not seen publicly the rest of the day.
Hillary Clinton has been forced to cancel a fundraising trip to California after being diagnosed with pneumonia.
Services marking the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks have taken place in NY and around the world throughout Sunday.
The incident compounds an already hard time for Clinton as the presidential race enters its final stretch. Clinton has other events Wednesday and beyond, and those are still on at this point.
On Saturday, Clinton came under fire from Republicans and on social media for saying Friday night that “half” of Trump’s supporters belonged in a “basket of deplorables”.
Clinton’s medical history, Rickard argued, meant the she was unfit to become the next USA president.
Trump has repeatedly questioned Clinton’s health, telling supporters last month she “lacks the mental and physical stamina” to serve as president and fight Islamic State militants.
She suffered a concussion and a subsequent blood clot in the brain, which later testing showed to have cleared completely.
Mrs Clinton suffers from deep vein thrombosis.
Mrs Clinton leaves a memorial event in Manhattan for the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks early after feeling “overheated”. The weather was warm and humid in NY on Sunday, and there was a breeze at the crowded memorial plaza during the ceremony.
Rep. Joe Crowley, D-N.Y., said he spent time before the ceremony chatting with Clinton and watching her sign autographs and take pictures.
“Hillary and I chatted for quite a while about our remembrances of 9/11 and our families”, said New York Sen.
“It was stiflingly hot. I drank about a gallon of water”.
According to the Times, Clinton arrived at the commemoration ceremony at 8 a.m. and left 90 minutes later. Her Republican opponent Donald Trump is 70.
Larry Sabato, a veteran political scientist at the University of Virginia, said Clinton’s team should release a full health record.

Dr. Harold Bornstein’s report last December remains the only medical information released so far by the Trump campaign. Bornstein told NBC News he needed just five minutes to write a glowing public assessment of Trump’s health as a limousine waited to carry the letter back to Trump.
