Prater gets redemption with late field in 39-35 win at Indy
Not hard to pick what Sunday was for the Indianapolis Colts. While they’ve gotten off to a slow start, Hilton’s impact play should get him going again. How’s that? Read on. However, they completely fell off in the second half and became incapable of slowing Andrew Luck.

“During that Indianapolis drive, I was trying to get the offense prepared”, he said.

“I don’t care who’s out there, ” Jackson said, “there’s no excuse for us to play like that”.
The 39-35 victory made Prater a hero, moments after he thought he had cost his team the game.
“The quarterback, obviously, was exceptional”, coach Chuck Pagano said. Luck was able to spread things around. Indy’s Phillip Dorsett had a big grab down the right sideline to beat Darius Slay on the next Colts drive.
He found tight ends Dwayne Allen and Jack Doyle for three touchdowns.
A Colts defense that entered the game missing four front-line players was further depleted.
With the Colts severely banged up in the secondary, and with CB-Patrick Robinson and S-T.J. Moore and Cromartie returned. Safety Winston Guy (ankle) also left late in the game and did not return. Luck accomplished the feat in his 56 career game, tied for the second-fastest in National Football League history.
The Colts pulled to within 14-3 with 4:50 left in the half on Vinatieri’s 50-yard field goal.
Frank Gore came to life in the second half, gaining 45 of his 59 yards to give the Colts some semblance of offensive balance.
