TCU may not fall out of the Top 25, but this is yet another early blow to the Big 12’s College Football Playoff chances. Arkansas may traditionally be a run first team but with the receiving core the Hogs have, you can expect a high scoring game if TCU still has weak coverage.

Allen’s winning score came on a second effort as he fell across the goal line. South Dakota State isnt a typical FCS team and they have two very talented players on their offense in QB Taryn Christion and WR Jake Weineke.
Arkansas might be able to score some points in this one, given TCU’s bad defensive play against South Dakota State last weekend.
“Hill took over with 52 seconds left to play and with 16 seconds left in the game, TCU went for the 28-yard field goal, and 6’10” Dan Skipper leapt up and blocked it. They were able to get inside TCU’s five, and on third and goal, Allen scored on a quarterback keeper to get an unbelievable 41-38 victory.
TCU quarterback Kenny Hill passed 57 yards to the Arkansas 5 and the 20-7 score was looking anything but big enough. It’s going to be much tougher to get there now, though a $12 million buyout likely increases his security in Lexington.
Arkansas: An offensive line with three new starters and coming off some criticism from the opener limited the pass rush-happy Horned Frogs to one sack.
Blake Barnett got the nod in the opener against Southern California and completed 2 of 6 passes for 64 yards in this one.

For Arkansas, the Razorbacks look like a risky team in the SEC at 2-0. The three road wins over ranked teams are tied with Alabama and Oklahoma for the most in the country since the start of the 2015 season.
