The Fifa 17 demo is about to drop and includes The Journey

“We always say that, so I think sometimes people laugh, but I think the modes that we’ve put in, the content, the quality – we’ve got something for all of our fans in the game and it’s going to be great”.

We know the demo is available to download tomorrow, but how much will you actually be able to do in the demo? You’ll have the opportunity to play a select experience in The Journey which will be limited to playing as one of the world’s top clubs Manchester United.

Unlike the previous few years, where the entire game was offered to players carte blanche, with just the overall 10 hour play time limit applying, players will only get to play Ultimate Team and “some” of The Journey, the single player story career mode, in Federation Internationale de Football Association 17 on EA Access.

You’ll be taken to places you’ve never been before such as the tunnel, the locker room, post-match interview, the manager’s office and even the team plane.

A sample of the music on the hotly-anticipated game has been released through its official FIFA Spotify profile, and artists included on the list are Bastille, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Two Door Cinema Club. It is added that the game will feature new attacking strategies, enhanced artificial intelligence, physical player overhaul, and set-piece routines.

After a little while, the skill games you play as the game is loading become a little bit stale.

Elsewhere, you’ll get your standard exhibition match, alongside four single player skill games to practice with, and three multiplayer skill modes.

A surprisingly large amount of teams are available in the demo and there’s a good variety too.

The “FIFA 17” demo will include three authentic stadiums which will be available in Kick Off mode and include Century Link, Stamford Bridge and Suita City Footbal Stadium.
