In a report published on Monday (Aug 29), The Post said: “While Abedin travels the country campaigning for Democratic presidential candidate Clinton, the ex-congressman was exchanging lewd and sexually explicit texts and photographs with an unidentified woman previous year”.
On Monday, many gave a long sigh of relief at Huma Abedin’s announcement that she would separate from her husband, former congressman Anthony Weiner.
Weiner served in the US Congress, representing his district in New York City from 1999 to 2011. “Our primary concern was the well-being of our son, and ensuring he had everything he needed to feel loved and cared for and to thrive”.

Ms Clinton was informed on Sunday about Mr Weiner’s disclosures to Ms Abedin, though it was unclear if Ms Abedin spoke directly to Ms Clinton.
Pierson’s speculation was quickly shot down by Democratic strategist Steve McMahon, who said he was questioning Abedin’s judgement instead of Clinton’s.
“Huma Abedin has access to classified information”. “August is a notoriously slow news month, and it can be hard for me to find stuff to talk about”, he said.
