Samsung unveils the Galaxy Folder 2 flip-phone in China
In contrast, the Samsung Galaxy S7 measures 142.4 x 69.6 x 7.9 mm; the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge clocks in at 150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7 mm; and the original Samsung Galaxy A8’s overall dimensions read 158 x 76.8 x 5.9 mm, so the upcoming model is not only slightly larger than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, but also outmeasures the original Galaxy A8 released a year ago. The device as the name suggests is a flip phone that runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Rumored to be powered by 1.5GHz octa-core processor with ARM Mali-T830 GPU, Galaxy A7 2017 is said to feature 2GB of RAM and 8GB expandable internal storage. Rear camera capacity could be 16MP with a 5MP selfie shooter in the front. We are not sure when exactly the device will be launched, but it is sure to get unveiled in the last quarter.

Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 is a new flip phone from the company and will launch in China. Whatever the case may be, the original Galaxy A8 was announced in July 2015 and released one month later in August, so in theory, the 2016 edition should hit the market fairly soon. The galaxy A8 (2016) has been spotted online. Though Samsung hasn’t yet made any official declaration about this model, yet it was spotted listed on the GFXBench benchmarking website with some spilled features and specs. Based on the info revealed by the benchmark listings for the Galaxy A3 (2017) and the Galaxy A7 (2017), the two smartphones will be rather minor upgrades over their predecessors as far as the hardware goes. The device is powered by a 2.1 GHz Exynos 7429 processor and it comes packed with a 3GB of RAM. It is rumored to come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and will most likely be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat in the future. On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is said to sport an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front snapper for taking video calls nd selfies. But as per previous records, the company is not expected to make much changes here, since they have maintained overall a similar design throughout the A series.
