But for most Android users, Nexus 7 has always been a ideal deal.
Aside from the Pixels’ CPU, other speculations cite the inclusion of a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and the 5-inch and 5.5-inch displays for the Pixel and Pixel XL, respectively.
It is speculated that the upcoming tablet will be unveiled together with the Nexus Marlin and Sailfish and will be launched on October 4 2016, at Google’s launch event and is expected to be available for pre-orders on the same date. Ruddock also says that Google will offer some sort of device financing for the new phones as well, but not much is known about it at this point.
What’s expected out of Google instead is an effective 2-in-1 that can make the best use of Android 7.0 Nougat’s tablet-friendly features.
Qualcomm says that the Snapdragon 821 is around 10 per cent more powerful than its predecessor, the 820, which can now be found in smartphones including the LG G5 and HTC 10.
The Pixel XL will be powered by a quadcore Qualcomm chipset, clocked at 1.59GHz. The purported handset is said to pack 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and 2770 mAh battery.
While the tech reporter didn’t furnish any other information on the device’s specifications or cost; HuaweiBlog, a popular German site, claims that the Google tablet will offer high-end specs to rival other high-end tablets. The company is likely to release Pixel handsets along with a newer version of Chromecast.
That being said, readers are advised to bear in mind that these are mere speculations based on recent leaks and hints coming from some reliable tipsters so take these rumors with a grain of salt until Google either confirms or debunks these speculations.
