“I remain deeply disturbed by the unrelenting attacks on civilians and on civilian infrastructure throughout Yemen by all parties to the conflict, which are further destroying Yemen’s social fabric and increasing humanitarian needs, particularly for medical attention at a time when the health sector is collapsing”, Mr McGoldrick said in a statement on Monday. According to the Saba news agency, at least 18 people were killed in the result of the airstrike and several others suffered serious injuries. They spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution. The Associated Press was unable to independently verify the death toll.

A United Nations official has said he is deeply disturbed by reports that 30 people were killed in Saudi-led coalition air strikes on a well in Yemen on Saturday.
They said Saudi-led coalition warplanes bombed the site and killed four workers, and then conducted a second bomb run when residents of the village rushed to the scene, killing at least 11 more and wounding 20.
