Hillary Clinton Diagnosed With Pneumonia, Is ‘Recovering Nicely’ Doctor Says
The questions about her health were compounded by the almost eight hours of silence from Clinton and her team about the health scare, as well as the Sunday evening disclosure she had been diagnosed on Friday with pneumonia.

Hillary Clinton has cancelled a two-day trip to California starting from Monday after the Democratic presidential candidate was diagnosed with pneumonia and has been advised to rest by her doctor.
Hillary Clinton plans to release additional health records, after an abrupt departure from a 9/11 anniversary ceremony Sunday raised concerns about her fitness to serve as commander in chief.
“I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail, and we’ll be seeing her at the debate”, Trump said in a phone interview with Fox News. She was then driven to her home in Chappaqua, New York. Clinton was apparently diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday (Sep. 9).
But the episode quickly impacted Clinton’s campaign.
Rep. Joe Crowley, D-N.Y., said he spent time before the ceremony chatting with Clinton and watching her sign autographs and take pictures.
Video appears to show Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton stumble as she leaves the 9/11 memorial at ground zero Sunday morning.
Her campaign said she had felt “overheated” and was taken to her daughter Chelsea’s apartment in the posh Flatiron building in the city.
Mrs Clinton made an abrupt departure from the event, marking 15 years since the September 11 attack, and went to her daughter’s apartment in NY. Merrill said that Clinton attended “to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen”. During the speech, she quipped, “Every time I think about Trump I get allergic”. Using selectively edited footage, they have suggested she may be battling a serious illness and even having seizures. A few weeks ago, her health became a topic of discussion when she had a case of seasonal allergies and a coughing bout.
Clinton released a two-page letter outlining her medical condition in July 2015 that sought to reassure Americans about her health after she fell and suffered a concussion at home in 2012 near the end of her tenure at the State Department. “I think on the one hand, it is part of the wacky strategy, just say all these insane things and maybe you can get some people to believe you”.
It’s an accusation that Clinton has sought to play off as a “wacky strategy” from Trump and evidence that he embraces an “alternative reality”.
Separately someone familiar with the situation said staff was instructed to keep quiet and not post anything negative on social media about the issue – with termination a potential effect for doing so.
Asked last week if she was concerned about “conspiracy theories” related to her health, Clinton said she wasn’t. “I don’t know anything about it, don’t know anything about it”, he told reporters.
NPR political editor Domenico Montanaro reports that Clinton was scheduled to travel to California Monday for two days, but late Sunday night her campaign called off the events.
The statement offered no additional details, including whether Clinton required medical attention.

Dr Bardack said that Mrs Clinton was found to have a blood clot and concussion-related double vision but made a full recovery.
