Day previously was a cast member of MTV’s improv comedy series Wild ‘N Out (along with Killam and fellow SNL-er Pete Davidson); he also played Evan Ferguson in the classic YouTube comedy series, “David Blaine Street Magic: YouTube Edition”.

“Saturday Night Live” is produced in association with Broadway Video.

Also joining the cast are Alex Moffat and Melissa Villasenor.

The three will replace departing players Jay Pharoah, Taran Killam and Jon Rudnitsky. His addition to the cast comes after his recurring stint on NBC’s sketch comedy series “Maya & Marty” this summer. She was a top 16 finalist on Season 6 of America’s Got Talent.
