The increase applies to most of Netflix’s European territories, although there is some variation in the pricing scheme.

Netflix Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) has discreetly boosted its subscription fees across all of Europe wherever it is operational.
According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix prices are going up! Nor will the price hikes affect either Netflix’s basic one-stream-at-a-time, standard-definition service – which costs €7.99 ($8.80) in France – or its premium four-streams-at-a-time offer (€11.99; $13.30), which includes access to Ultra HD 4K content.
Netflix have announced that they are to increase prices for new members for their standard two screen plan. Earlier this year, Netflix changes its prices in the Nordics and United Kingdom. This is almost three times the projections released by the French Ministry of Culture. The online video streaming company has 42 million members in the United States.
Even though price hike is a substantial 10% increase from prior price, analysts are optimistic that the price bump will not hamper subscriber growth. It has approximately 4.5 million members in United Kingdom, its largest international market.
As per sources privy to the matter, the existing subscribers’ current plan will remain intact and will not change for a year.

Netflix says existing customers will not have to pay more – with prices staying at current rates until at least May 2016. In addition to heading to Japan next month, Netflix will be rolling out streaming services in Italy, Portugal, and Spain later this year.
