Clinton Felt ‘Overheated,’ Left Early From Sept. 11 Commemoration
The campaign has not commented specifically on a video taken by an audience member at the ceremony that appears to show Clinton being assisted as she got into her campaign’s van.

Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement that the former secretary of state attended the morning ceremony for 90 minutes “to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen”. Her campaign said she had felt “overheated” and was taken to her daughter Chelsea’s apartment in the city.
“I’m feeling great, it’s a lovely day in New York”, Clinton said.
But the video Sunday reignited conspiracy theories about Clinton’s health on some conservative websites, which have flourished ever since she got the stomach flu in 2012, got dehydrated and fell.
“I’m feeling great”, she said.
Once she returned home, Clinton was examined by her physician, who issued a statement saying that the Democratic nominee has been experiencing a cough related to allergies.
The incident, in which a wobbly Clinton appeared to lose her footing as she was helped into her vehicle, offered Republican Donald Trump a new opening to attack his White House rival with just 15 days before their first high-pressure presidential debate.
This story is developing.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who has questioned Clinton’s “stamina” in the past, has not commented on her illness. It noted that her current medical conditions include hyperthyroidism and seasonal pollen allergies.
Less than two months from Election Day, it was an unwanted visual for Clinton as she tries to project the strength and vigor needed for one of the world’s most demanding jobs.
Merrill had indicated she had returned to her residence in Chappaqua north of New York City sometime after 1 pm, and was not seen publicly the rest of the day. “She was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule”, Bardack said.
This year’s September 11 anniversary falls during a pitched presidential campaign and politics hovered even though both candidates pledged to suspend political activities out of respect for the victims, first responders and their families. “I watch him move from city to city, event to event, engage robustly with a lot of people, and – and he’s a pretty fantastic guy”, Flynn said Monday on “New Day”. But she stood by her larger point that “it’s deplorable that Trump has built his campaign largely on prejudice and paranoia and given a national platform to hateful views and voices”.
Trump on Monday called Clinton’s remarks “the biggest mistake of the political season”.
In phone-in television interviews Monday morning, Trump was uncharacteristically subdued about Clinton’s health issues.
According to Independent, Clinton had to be rushed out of the service, because she was not feeling well. Nor does it mean that there’s any equivalence between Clinton’s excessive secrecy about her health and, say, Trump flirting with white-supremacist backers, praising Vladimir Putin, lying repeatedly, or joking about Clinton being assassinated, to pick a few recent examples at random.
Mrs Clinton’s speech at a campaign rally earlier this month in Cleveland was interrupted by a coughing spell.
Schumer said he also spoke with Clinton during the event and saw her leave “on her own accord.”?
In a telephone interview, Rep. Joe Crowley of NY told The Associated Press that at one point, he saw what he thought was a staff member tap Clinton on her shoulder.

“I’m determined to bring our country together and make our economy work for everyone, not just those at the top”, she said.
