With things tied at 28-28, No. 15 TCU had a chance to win the game with a 28-yard field goal with 10 seconds to go, so the Razorbacks inserted enormous tackle Dan Skipper on the kick block unit.

Through three quarters, Arkansas seemed comfortably in control of the game. However, TCU would not go away without a fight as they went into the fourth quarter.

The teams traded touchdowns in the first overtime, but TCU made a fatal mistake in the second period.

TCU’s Gary Patterson squared off against Arkansas’ Bret Bielema once previously as coaches when the Horned Frogs beat Wisconsin 21-19 in the Rose Bowl on January 1, 2011.

According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s Thomas Murphy, Ellis’ pick-six was Arkansas’ first since Rohan Gaines returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown against Ole Miss in November 2014.

TCU forced another Arkansas three-and-out before adding to its lead on Hill’s second rushing score, a five-yarder to give the Horned Frogs a 28-20 lead with 2:05 to go.

Allen not only completed 17-of-29 passes for 233 yards and three touchdowns in the win at No. 15 TCU, but also ran in the game-winning touchdown during the second overtime and caught the game-tying two-point conversion to force overtime.

The move, though, drew a flag and enabled the Hogs to have a short field and come back to win the game Saturday in double overtime.

Williams rushed 28 times for 137 yards, and he operated as the fulcrum of head coach Bret Bielema’s offense during a prosperous start. TCU then capitalized on a missed 22-yard field-goal attempt with a one-yard touchdown run by Hill to punctuate a rapid-fire drive that spanned 80 yards in just under two minutes.

The ramifications of that decision immediately came into effect as Arkansas glided 58 yards in four snaps to pull within 28-26, and a reverse pass from Keon Hatcher to Allen tied the game at 28-28 with 1:03 remaining. Kenny Hill found Taj Williams for a 13-yard touchdown. At this point, you can’t help but wonder just how much this TCU team is going to struggle in 2016.
