After weeks of floating debunked conspiracy theories about Clinton’s health, Trump and his campaign instead said they sincerely hope the Democratic nominee is on the mend after being diagnosed with pneumonia. After an exam at her home in suburban NY, said Dr. Lisa R. Bardack, Clinton “is now rehydrated and recovering nicely”.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign says the Democratic presidential nominee left a 9/11 anniversary ceremony in NY after feeling “overheated”.

The video came from an unverified Twitter account under the name Zdenek Gazda, who did not respond to a request for comment. “It’s a attractive day in NY”. The campaign is reviewing whether to reschedule fundraising events in California on Monday and Tuesday.

Now Ms Clinton is sure to face new questions about whether she is physically fit for the presidency.

Trump, 70, has also been under pressure to release detailed information on his health and medical history. Trump re-tooled his primary attack on Jeb Bush for being “low energy” to use against Clinton this summer, saying she needs lots of sleep, making it a regular line in his rallies.

Clinton was taken to her daughter Chelsea’s home nearby in Manhattan, and left about 90 minutes later.

NY temperatures on Sunday were in the low 80s, with humidity in the mid-40s.

“I am glad to learn that Secretary Clinton is already feeling better and I wish her a speedy recovery”, said Democratic National Committee interim chair Donna Brazile in a statement Sunday night.

Speaking to Fox News earlier today, The Donald wished Hillary well after she was taken ill during a 9/11 memorial service at Ground Zero yesterday. Or rather it will force Clinton to have a conversation about her health in the race.

The Washington Post points out, that thanks to this morning’s incident Clinton’s health is now officially back on the table as a campaign issue.

“Hillary and I chatted for quite a while about our remembrances of 9/11 and our families”, said New York Sen. “She looked like everything was fine and everything was good”. She left a short time later, saying she was “feeling great”.

Clinton exited the apartment on her own shortly before noon.

The doctor’s letter said that the clot, called a transverse sinus venous thrombosis, was treated with anti-coagulants and that follow-up tests conducted in 2013 “revealed complete resolution of the effects of the concussion as well as total dissolution of the thrombosis”.

She returned to her home in Chappaqua, where she remained for the rest of the day.

Bardack added that Clinton was put on antibiotics and advised to rest and modify her schedule.

The goal is to keep the public informed about their condition, whereabouts and official interactions at all times. “Right?” the former USA secretary of state said.

Mr Trump, who attended the same event marking the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, was noticeably restrained. “I don’t know what’s going on”. Clinton was a New York Senator in 2001 and says she was on her way to the Senate when the first plane hit.

Trump and Clinton are scheduled to meet September 26 at Hofstra University on Long Island for the first of three presidential debates.

Both candidates have so far released only limited health records. Bardack said Clinton had a stomach virus after traveling and had become dehydrated.
