Perhaps, Tobias doesn’t die a grisly death then, but will appear later on in the series just like Morgan did in Fear’s companion series, The Walking Dead?

However, creator of the show Robert Kirkman, did shut down the rumors last year on the theory about Rick’s coma, saying that it is happening very much so on The Walking Dead timeline.

Kirkman was asked how it feels to generate a brand new story for Fear the Walking Dead as opposed to following the comic books with The Walking Dead.

“There was something interesting to me about a dysfunctional blended family that’s trying to come together and failing to do so”, Erickson says by phone, also calling from L.A. Last season, for instance, the show paid homage to one of the greatest zombie works in pop culture, Edgar Wrights Shaun of the Dead, but it did so in a way that you probably werent even aware of.

He went on to explain that Fear the Walking Dead will give an alternative view of how the apocalypse occurred and how it will affect a different group of characters. They’ll be questioning exactly what these “infected” humans are that they’re seeing. “Their inclination is not going to be to beat down if it’s a walker coming at them”.

What do you think will happen on Fear the Walking Dead premiere? “So, we took a much different, cerebral approach to the walkers by playing up some of the damage that’s occurred to them during this sort of outbreak”. The series is set in Los Angeles and chronicles the beginning of the zombie apocalypse we all know and are terrified by love. Fans of The Walking Dead will know that Lincoln’s character, Tobias, is correct about his concerns, however, his guidance counselor, Madison (played by Kim Dickens) is not at all convinced the end of the world is nigh.

“The thing I love about the pilot is everytime we go to a wide shot and we look at the crowded freeways and houses stacked on the hills, I think the audience is watching this knowing full well that pretty soon all those people are going to be dead”. “Loyal, passionate fans are responsible for making “The Walking Dead” the #1 show on television and this is an exciting opportunity for us to thank them in person”.
