Update: Several hours after asking fans to help find her missing daughter, Rosie O’Donnell confirmed that the 17-year-old had been found in the following Tweet. Chelsea had stopped taking medication for an undisclosed mental illness and “is in need of medical attention”, the statement said.

The teenager who says she was raped last year by a senior at the prestigious St. Paul’s School in New Hampshire will return to the witness stand to testify about events surrounding the alleged assault. She left home with her therapy dog, a six-month-old, nine-pound black terrier named Bear.

Micoley said Chelsea reached out to Micoley’s father, who re-connected the two.

O’Donnell’s publicist assured the adoption was done completely by the books and that O’Donnell has even “encouraged and supported Chelsea’s desire to communicate with her birth mother”.

CNN reported that police said the girl had run away from home, and that while the family had not seen her since August 11, she had used an unknown person’s cellphone to call sometime before Sunday.
