The Post also reported that Weiner once bragged to a woman that his son is a “chick magnet”.
What I have realized about Anthony Weiner over the last few days is that he did some very bad things, but I should feel sorry for him.
In a March podcast, Abedin said her husband’s willingness to be a stay-at-home dad helped allow her to go out on the campaign trail with Clinton.
The Post didn’t say how it obtained the photographs and messages. Asked for comment, Weiner said in the report that he and the woman “have been friends for some time”. I’m glad that the people who know our country best due to their lived experiences can provide this important analysis to someone like me.
But seeing as Weiner admittedly used the boy as a prop to pick up women, we have a feeling this investigation won’t bode well for the serial sexter… Two threads emerged here, both a real stretch: one, that Clinton can’t be trusted with state secrets if there’s a Weiner in her midst; and two, that Weiner’s infidelities necessitate Clinton addressing her own husband’s philandering.
In fact, the Abedin saga offers a case study of how getting too close to the Clintons often brings tears and regrets. He was the one who, in 2011, accidentally posted a picture of his junk on his public Twitter feed. News conferences were held.
The 51-year-old Weiner’s Washington career was torpedoed in 2011 by his sexting escapades, and his mayoral hopes were toppled three years later in a similar scandal – where he used the pseudonym “Carlos Danger”.
