It is slated to be the final entry in the Metal Gear saga. Metal Gear Solid 3 is the earliest Metal Gear game to date which takes place during the Cold War in the mid-60s. Yes, you too can demonstrate your fondness for stealth action by buying a soon-to-be-obsolete MP3 player – something tells us that these models won’t be wildly popular. When asked this very question on Twitter, Kojima said that The Phantom Pain won’t be so hard since it’s the gameplay feels more ajusted.

The radio drama was written by Metal Gear Solid military advisor Motosada Mori and helmed by Metal Gear Solid 4 co-director Shuyo Murata. We expect more details to emerge as we get closer to the game’s release.
Let’s face it, the last Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain trailer (above) which premiered during Gamescom 2015, wasn’t the best one you’ve seen. He came up with his own plot, three loosely connected adventures actually, and all featuring new Metal Gear stories. What, you thought that the game would only have Diamond Goats? The retailer is also offering the game to those in the Gamers Club Unlocked program. Unfortunately, those anticipating the return of Metal Gear Online will have to wait another month on consoles and until early 2016 for PC. In order to qualify, you’ll need to pick up a a GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 980, 970, or 960 GPU or 980/970M notebook. On the bright side, however, the console is region free so, if you really want to get your hands on one, importing is an option.
