Scarlett Johansson, Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Hudson lend their voices to the musical comedy, and despite the heat, they glammed it up on the red carpet.

Matthew provides the voice of Buster Moon, a koala bear who owns a struggling theatre and stages a singing contest for an array of animals in a bid to raise money.
Speaking at the premiere of her new movie “Sing” at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday, Johansson said: “I’m a big karaoke fan”.

McConaughey said the best part about working on the film, which is scheduled for release in December, was getting to feel like a child again.
“I’ve only ever been to TIFF with serious dramas so this is really fun”.
“I don’t really know what she sounds like”, Johansson said. Now facing the crumbling of his life’s ambition, he has one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition.
Hudson and Kelly gave a joint performance following the premiere.

The film was written and directed by Garth Jennings, best known for Disney’s big screen adaptation of Douglas Adams’ Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy in 2005 and Son of Rambow two years later.
