Australian Carrier To Take Google Pixel Pre-Orders On October 4
The highly anticipated Google Nexus/Pixel handsets, meanwhile, will most likely make their debut at a separate Google event in early October, rocking top-notch specs and features and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

The latest variant from Google in terms of Operating System is Android 7.0 Nougat. For one, it’s hard to think why Google would be teasing the release of a Nexus device when the company is believed to be ditching the name “Nexus” for its smartphone devices.
According to The Inquirer, the Pixel Phone will have a 2770 mAh battery. Although Google has not yet released an official statement regarding its upcoming handset, reports claim that HTC is manufacturing two new devices for Google.
Rumors about Google dropping the Nexus name derives from the leaks about the search engine giant revealing their HTC-built smartphones under Pixel name instead, namely Pixel and Pixel XL. Evan Blass leaked on Twitter that the tablet is on track to be released before the end of this year.
Since a year ago, rumors regarding the next Nexus 7 or something that will follow the 2013 Google Nexus 7 have already surfaced. The two will have QHD AMOLED screens, Qualcomm Snapdragon 521 processors, 32GB or 128 GB storage and 4GB RAM. Needless to say, a bunch of rumors about the new Pixel and Pixel XL phones have already circulated around the web.
A more recent report from Huawieblog.de stated that the device will feature a 7-inch display that has a Quad HD resolution. In addition, both of these iterations are set to be launched October 4 when Google is expected to hold a special event to introduce the new branding.
The two phones will have identical aesthetics and the only difference is the screen size with the Pixel having 5 in and the XL with 5.5 inches.
