Chelsea O’Donnell had been last seen a week ago, the TV personality said in a post to her website. She left home with her therapy dog, a six-month-old, nine-pound black terrier named Bear.

The site says law enforcement were able to locate her by pinging a cell phone she used.

On Tuesday night, the star released a statement saying her daughter had been found safe. But Rosie’s concern was heightened as Chelsea would have stopped taking her medication for an undisclosed mental health condition during her disappearance.

Earlier reports, including a statement from O’Donnell’s publicist that Barnegat Light police were involved and she was found in Barnegat Light were in error. It states that New York police have been looking for Chelsea since Sunday.

Earlier in the day, Rosie posted a bulletin on her website revealing that the teen was missing.
